In 2016 Harper & Lewis had successfully expanded their retail presence to 6 stores nationwide and were looking to tackle their online proposition.
With only 4 weeks to go until peak trading in November, they needed to launch a fully functional, scalable ecommerce platform that would be capable of managing multiple orders a day and a fast moving inventory.
- To launch a store with over 500 products in the first week of November.
- Set up back of house functions to operate ecommerce business.
- Analyse and determine target keyword terms.
- Achieve top organic listings for key Harper & Lewis terms by the end of 2016/
- Set up Google Shopping campaigns.
The Plan of Action
After working closely on site with the Harper and Lewis team, we first agreed on branding and design to ensure that their unique concept was visually suited to an online platform.
Once the graphic design was signed off, our next focus was on the development of the website. After scoping several platforms we determined that Shopify would prove the most cost-effective solution for their particular requirements. Once we had built a bespoke Shopify theme, we began advising them on the requirements for building a product data feed which would eventually populate the new site.
During this campaign, we were able to successfully reach over 40,000 people, and generate 139 leads with a £13.76 return on investment
