TreatBox UK creates pre-made, monthly, or personalised boxes to let the people in your life know how much you care. It all started after Zoe, the founder, was searching for something to cheer up a friend and couldn’t find anything that felt thoughtful or customisable enough.

So, she created the brand she wanted to see.

The Brief

TreatBox came to us because even though they had a thoughtful, niche business idea, their website wasn’t performing like it needed to. How could people share personalised treats with their loved ones if they couldn’t find or use the website easily?

That’s where we came in.

The Solutions

To help TreatBox make more people feel special with their thoughtful boxes, we focused our expertise in three areas:

WEBSITE

1. SEO Audit

We carried out an SEO audit to better understand what customers, or potential customers, were searching in order to find TreatBox’s website. From this, we gathered a collection of potential keywords and phrases to be included in the website for better ranking and increased traffic.

2. Build your Own Box user experience

Since personalised boxes are an important offering for TreatBox, we knew that the user experience of building your own box needed to be easy and intuitive. 

We upgraded this by ensuring that the Shopify website worked on both desktop and mobile and also added new filter functionality. This filter allows people to narrow down their choices based on the tastes of their intended recipient, such as ‘vegan’, ‘vegetarian’, or wanting heart-warming prints and stationery rather than edible goods, for example.

3. TreatBox

Overall, our expertise in Shopify ecommerce websites was put to use in multiple ways, all improving the user’s experience with TreatBox. We collaborated with Zoe on consistent fonts, colours, call-to-action buttons to make sure the brand story was clear, and we also improved the site’s usability with new home navigation functionality and the removal of any hidden minor bugs.

Now that we’ve built a collaborative relationship with Zoe, we’re in a position to provide ongoing recommendations to improve the ranking and experience of TreatBox’s ecommerce website into the future.
